Almost there! A few more hours to wait to enter in 2015! We, from VisionBot, are eager to wait for 2015. To see out the results! By the way, we didn’t even enter in 2015 and already Alexandru Ionut Budisteanu got accepted to attend the International event Harvard World Model United Nations that will be held in South Korea between 16-20 March 2015. Each year, 2500 international students gether in a different place to debate and simulate the United Nations. The WorldMUN is an annual traveling Model United Nations conference that is run by Harvard students and a local university team from a host city. WorldMUN moves to a new international city each year and attracts over 2,000 college and graduate students from more than 70 countries, making it the largest international collegiate-level Model UN conference in the world. For sure it will be fun and an amazing experience for Alexandru Ionut Budisteanu because he will be the Secretary of the CPC Central Secretariat and the Head of the CPC.
After 4 months of hard work and devotion, VisionBot won the First Prize at the National Fair of Inventions and Scientific Creation for Youth held in Bucharest this month.
This National Fair is part of Gaudeamus Fair and it was organised by the Minister of Youth and Sports in Romania. Its main goal is to support the innovative creations of youth people with age between 15 and 35 years old. The 3 days event is composed out of three sections: applied science, information technology and the technology of the future. VisionBot was proud representative of information technology.
This is the 5th edition where Alexandru presented his invention and got the first prize for it. The jury was represented by inventors, academicians and representatives of OSIM (State Office of Inventions and Trademarks)
We must admit that this is definitely a step further for VisionBot and we are looking forward to see it commercialized on the market.
Alexandru Ionut Budisteanu has just come back from London with more energy and enthusiasm to get things done. It was a great pleasure and honor for him to be a speaker at WIRED 2014 and he hopes that he inspired the people from the audience in perusing their passion. ”Challenge yourself and success will follow!” was the piece of advice he gave to the auditory. He also said that patience and motivation play a significant role in being successful. During the conference Alexandru spoke about his previous experience and about his future plans. Of course he did not forget to mention VisionBot which took birth because one of his priorities is to help others to bring their ideas to fruition. WIRED 2014 is the fourth two-day flagship event from WIRED that gather more than 45 speakers from a multitude of disciplines including: design, advertising, digital media, life sciences, publishing, programming, humanitarianism and more. Its main purpose is to present and attract people that are changing and defining the future.
Yesterday, Alexandru Ionut Budisteanu attended a high-level conference entitled: “The future of Europe is Science”. The conference was hosted by the European Commission. Alexandru was invited by the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso to be a speaker in a panel and to debate the current European educational system issues. Alexandru underlined the idea that although Europe has been the world’s greatest place for sciences, arts, education and innovation for the past centuries, now Europe has a big problem with education. Less and less young people are interested in studying STEM. You can read more details about the event where Alexandru took place on his personal blog budisteanu.net
